Welcome to the GREMLIN family! We can’t wait to have you join us at the Underground. If it’s your first time, here is a bit of information to get you prepared, but all you really need to bring is your body and we’ll help you with the rest!
WHAT TO WEAR
Dress for the “weather”
We are in a warehouse, the studio is not temperature controlled, though we do have fans running to keep the air circulating as much as we can! It will ALWAYS get hot and sweaty by the end of the hour, wear layers you can peel away during the cold months or strip down to bare that beautiful body if you dare!
Wear the “right” SHOES!
Everyone has personal preferences on style (high top, low tops, etc), but the most important thing to remember is that the studio floor is carpeted concrete. The bottom soles of the shoes should not have traction grips ( ie: no running shoes) as it can be damaging to your knees when you are twisting. Flat bottom shoes (look under the “casual” category of shoes) should do the trick. If you have any questions, always ask! Cushion is important, add insoles!
TIP: The stage floor is the best floor, do your body a favor and join the instructors on stage! It’s OPEN to everyone!
WHAT TO BRING
Water bottles are available for $0.50
Maybe you had a rough day, this is your hour to rid yourself of all the stresses. Don’t perpetuate your bad day! Share a smile with a neighbor and ENJOY the class and walk back out those doors to face life with a better perspective!
